The µPD78980x microcontrollers are targeted for PC peripheral applications with USB1.1 function.

On-chip USB functions
- Implements a USB (Universal Serial Bus) by connecting to hub and host
- Transfer speed: 1.5 Mbps (at 6.0 MHz operation with system clock)
Built-in on-chip regulator (VREG = 3.0 V - 3.6 V)
On-chip key return signal detector
