The RX200 Flash MCUs bring new levels of capability and performance to ultra-low-power, low-voltage embedded-system applications. Based on the fast 32-bit RX CPU core, The RX200 delivers more performance on far less power than other MCUs, operate over wide voltage ranges, and offer huge power savings in standby. A wide set of peripherals are available, including communication, ADC and support for the IEC60730 appliance safety standard.

  • A wide product lineup covering flash memory sizes from 1 MB to 64 KB is planned.
  • The package lineup covers pin counts from 144 to 64 pins. In addition to the basic LQFP, a lineup of small size LGA packages will also be available.
  • A lineup of ASSP products specialized for specific applications is also planned.

The first product in the RX200 Series.<br />The RX210 Group has a wide operating voltage range of 1.62 V to 5.5. V and can execute calculations at 78 DMIPS (Dhrystone million instructions per second) at up to 50 MHz high-speed operation. Furthermore, it achieves 17.3 mA low power performance when operating at 50 MHz. ?
