Overview

H8/300L Super Low Power series are single-chip microcomputers made up of the high-speed H8/300L Renesas Electronics original architecture as their cores, and have good performance on low voltage operation and low power consumption. H8/300L CPU has an instruction set that is compatible with the H8/300 CPU. On-chip debugging function on Flash ROM parts allows program debugging with the microcomputer mounted in the system, simplifying development and adjustment and reducing the overall time required for product development.

Within the H8/300L-SLP Series, the H8/38004, H8/38104, H8/38002S Group comprise single-chip microcomputers equipped with a LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) controller/driver. Other on-chip peripheral functions include three to four timers, a two channels of 10bit pulse width modulator(PWM), a serial communication interface, and four channels of 10-bit A/D Converter.

Support for the H8/3802 is limited to customers who have already adopted these products. If adopting new products, please consider other ranges such as the H8/38104 or RL78/L12.

 

H8/38024R, 38024, 38024S, 38124

Within the H8/300L Series, the H8/38024 Group and H8/38024S Group comprise single-chip microcomputers equipped with a LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) controller/driver. Other on-chip peripheral functions include six timers, a two-channel 10-bit pulse width modulator (PWM), a serial communication interface, and an A/D converter. Together, these functions make the H8/38024 Group and H8/38024S Group ideally suited for embedded applications in systems requiring low power consumption and LCD display. Models in the H8/38024 Group and H8/38024S Group are the H8/38024 and H8/38024S, with on-chip 32-kbyte ROM and 1-kbyte RAM, the H8/38023 and H8/38023S, with on-chip 24-kbyte ROM and 1-kbyte RAM, the H8/38022 and H8/38022S, with on-chip 16-kbyte ROM and 1-kbyte RAM, the H8/38021 and H8/38021S, with 12-kbyte ROM and 512 byte RAM, and the H8/38020 and H8/38020S, with 8- kbyte ROM and 512 byte RAM.
The H8/38024 is also available in a ZTAT™ version with on-chip PROM which can be programmed as required by the user. The H8/38024 is also available in F-ZTAT™ versions with on-chip flash memory which can be reprogrammed on board.

H8/3827R, 3827S, 38327, 38427

The H8/3827S Group, H8/38327 Group, and H8/38427 Group are highp erformance single-chip microcomputers that integrate peripheral functionsnecessary for system configuration with an H8/300L CPU core.
The on-chip peripheral functions include ROM, RAM, six timers, 14-bit PWM, 2channels of serial communication interface (SCI), an A/D converter, LCDcontroller/driver, and I/O ports, providing an ideal configuration as amicrocomputer for embedding in sophisticated control systems. PROM
(ZTAT.*1), flash memory (F-ZTAT.*2), and mask ROM are available as on-chip ROM,enabling users to respond quickly and flexibly to changing applicationspecifications and the demands of the transition from initial to full-fledgedvolume production.

H8/3847R, 3847S, 38347, 38447

The H8/300L Series is a series of single-chip microcomputers (MCU:microcomputer unit), built around the high-speed H8/300L CPU and equipped withperipheral system functions on-chip. Within the H8/300L Series, the H8/3847S Group, H8/38347 Group and H8/38447 Group comprise single-chipmicrocomputers equipped with an LCD (liquid crystal display) controller/driver.Other on-chip peripheral functions include six types of timers, a 14-bit pulsewidth modulator (PWM), three serial communication interface channels, and anA/D converter. Together, these functions make the H8/3847R Group, H8/3847SGroup and H8/38347 Group ideally suited for embedded applications in systemsrequiring low power consumption and LCD display.
The H8/3847R is also available in a ZTAT™*1 version with on-chip PROM which canbeprogrammed as required by the user.
The H8/38347 and H8/38447*3 are available in a F-ZTAT™*2 version with on-chipflash memory that can be programmed on-board.
H8/38447 Group is supported by E6000.
